Norway Part One: Bergen & Beyond

Bergen Norway

And on to our trip to Norway! We’d been meaning to head back to Norway for around a year – mostly to visit our friends Mariell and Jostein, as well as their baby who we hadn’t properly met yet (she technically came to our wedding but as she was still in the womb I’m not sure she’ll remember much of it…) But we also wanted an excuse to go and see a little bit more of the country, and so we started in Bergen.

Looks

Heavy Metal

You know it’s a crappy summer when you’re cracking out the ankle boots, hats and scarves in August. Whilst I’d love to be here in floaty white dresses and fields, that sadly hasn’t been the reality. My 0 Travel Essentials

Today I’m heading off on my next adventure to Norway! So I thought it seemed apt to share a few of my travel essentials. I almost spend as much time away as I do at home, so it goes without saying that I’m a bit of a seasoned packer. I’ve come to know exactly what I need and don’t really ever get that “have I forgotten something?!” feeling anymore.

My Guide to North Queensland

North Queensland Guide

As I mentioned in my first post about the rainforest, Australia wasn’t always top of my travel wishlist. When I pictured it, I saw postcard views of Sydney, Kangaroos and desert – and I didn’t think a 04hour flight warranted that, especially when I considered that the culture would be so similar to our own. But there is SO much more to Australia than that, and certainly so much more explore. Visiting North Queensland changed my opinion completely.
